Portrait drawing tutorial

As many of you have ask me how to use a Scale divider, I have made a tutorial in which I explain how I measure and draw my portraits with this magical drawing tool!

It makes getting the proportions accurate when drawing the portrait so much easier! You can use the method I explain in the video, or you can draw your model freehand and then check some reference points. It really works perfect and the more you draw and practise, the less reference points you will need.

Even though my focus is painting in cold wax medium and oils (and recently water based cold wax and acrylics), I plan to do more of these tutorials on Drawing since it is my other (secret) passion! Painting can be frustrating when you feel stuck, whereas I find drawing to be extremely relaxing. If you donโ€™t want to miss new tutorials, please subscribe to my YouTube channel!๐Ÿ””
